What are the treatments available for thrush
You can treat thrush in the home by avoiding wearing tight pants, tights or jeans. Taking plenty of baths can get rid of the thrush and observing proper vaginal hygiene.
Medicines are also prescribed to treat thrush. Doctors will prescribe anti-fungal medicines to be inserted into the vagina.

Is it okay to breastfeed if you have thrush?
Yes. Breastfeeding is best for babies and does not need to be interrupted even if the mother or the baby has thrush. However, both mother and baby should be treated with anti-fungal medication for one to two weeks after the symptoms have cleared. Keep in mind that breastfeeding with thrush can be painful.
