What causes thrush to happen
Thrush organisms are usually found in the bowel. Sometimes the organism enters the vagina if a woman is always wearing tight pants, tights or jeans. Here are other causes of thrush infection in the vagina:
• Oral contraceptive
• Certain antibiotics
• Diabetes
• Pregnancy
• Infection by a woman’s partner
• Vaginal deodorants

Can I get vaginal thrush even if I am menopause?
Vaginal thrush can affect even women who are menopause. Even if their estrogen levels are low, thrush can be transmitted sexually, and infect both partner. It can also be caused by using vaginal deodorants and by not observing proper body hygiene.
